A heart-longing....

I can see our holidays on the horizon now!

Reservations confirmed and dates set...now the anticipation begins and the count down until I visit my lovely favourites down south..

The lovely Stratford Ontario and York Street with their scrumptious lunches which we carry over excitedly to the Avon River to watch the ducks and

sit on cozy park benches...

Beautiful relaxing Niagara on the lake and the lovely Niagara Parkway, where we go barefoot and picnic in the shade...
And last but certainly not least.. the place my heart wants to call home is the tender St. Jacobs..
where my heart longs for... where quietness overtakes my soul...how I love you

Willow had his groom and looks fabulous and smells good too!

I felt like such a blessed Momma when I picked him up from his groomers!!

I get excited at these things lol

And....tonight Im going to my sisters to have a home-cooked meal with all of my lovely sisters and my Momma as well!

Spaghetti and meatballs, ceasar salad, warmed crusty bread, and Im bringing fresh fruit and chocolate for a chocolate fondue later while we watch a "chick-flick"!!!

Summer Dreams

Im dreaming of summer days,

little trips,

warm breezes,

the feel of sand between my toes..

laying on my little back deck with my favourite girl..

my daughter Carrie.

Cant wait to lounge in our backyard in adirondack chairs

hidden behind our new fence,

with a tall glass of limeaid,

and the sweet company of 3 terriers

Thinking of putting a stand-up clothesline in the yard too..

nothing like the smell of fresh laundry

after its been drying in the sun..

summer breeze makes me feel fine.....

Our washer broke down and im misssing my washer..

never realized how much I appreciate my washing machine..

I do now..and Im so grateful..
