Coffee and something sweet!

A couple of months ago I had asked the store owner

of one of my favourite coffee shops

for some coffee bean bags..

She so graciously

gave me a couple....

she's a sweetie :)

Empty ones of course!!

lol

Well I wasn't sure what I would do with them

at the time I asked,

other than maybe make some pillows.

I had some time to ponder on it

and

 decided what I wanted to create with it.

Then I remembered..... a very talented friend

whom I bowled alongside last year.

I gave her a call and visited with her

and she agreed to make me

this...

I know...I'm such a tease!!!

Its my very own

coffee bean purse!!!

I love it so!!

Its so well made and I've got lots of pockets

for storage too... :)

I just wanted to share my purse-joy

I'm a jean wearing, casual style kinda girl

and so this is perfect for my little wardrobe!

Can't wait for the weather to keep getting warmer

so I can take this baby with me

wherever I go...:)

One of my greatest gifts...

This is so true of my dear sister Denise.

We celebrated

the day of her birth

yesterday as we

gathered

together to

honour her

and

cherish her...

Denise is Neesi to me,

a jewel of a friend and sister...

She's a beloved wife,

adoring Momma,

Mia to Chloe (grandma)

loving sister,

precious daughter,

beautiful auntie,

dear friend,

caring nurse and caregiver..

and lately

her world

is filled up with

all that is baby

and she is just

lovin'

every minute of it!

After delicious

skor ice cream cake (yum!)

we watched

"Babies"

a movie given to her by our brother David

We laughed so hard

our bellies ached!

And as a family we ended up

narrarating the movie in our own way

and laughed even harder!

We could just imagine what these little children were thinking in some of the scenerios!

A cute movie!!!
