Old White and Shabby Chic

Happy weekend my friends!!!

Hope you are all enjoying the week-end

and doing some fun things!!

I had a leisurely day off...

walking our dogs,

running a few errands,

and doing some painting

with my

Annie Sloan chalk paint!!

A few weeks ago I found this at a garage sale

and picked it up right away.

It was originally a bread box,

and thats how I intended to keep it.

I love wood and I had a vision for this,

which was to simply paint it

with some chalk paint.

I gave it a "shabby chic" look,

and can you believe it was only $1.00 ?!

I am loving this paint!!

I wanted a shabby chic look,

and I am very happy with how easy

and fun this paint is!

My biggest dilemna

is the "deciding"

which colour of paint to use on

which item..lol

Theres more coming....I've only just begun to play

with this paint!!

Two little well-loved puppies

waiting to go to their new family

Making a new sweet friend

over the adoption of two darling puppies!

These puppies' have a beautiful new mommy, Amanda.

She is one very special lady.

and I'm so glad I've met her

and I know that she and her husband and little daughter

are going to pour love into these precious little ones..

I know...they've already begun

Lunch with my dear daughter today

and enjoying her sweet company..

in between her texting

and her laughing at me

because I supposedly got

green salad stuck into between my teeth..lol

I did take a photo of that but trust me,

you wouldnt want to see it!

It made her laugh though!

A happy fun day,
