Good evening my sweet girlfriends!
How has your week been?
Even though its only Thursday,
its Friday in my "work-week"
and Im happy to say I'm off for the next two days!
I was just pulling in my drive-way after work
when I noticed something sticking out of my mailbox..
It was not wrapped in paper,
but tied in a delicate pink ribbon.
Ooh-la-la
it had me at pink!!!
My mind was racing..
Who, what, why?!
A note...yes, theres a note!
And r u f f l e s...
oh
feminine, pink
frilliness!
As I untie this precious pink ribbon,
I see that the frilliness
is a beautiful simply shabby chic pillow case
with r u f f l e s..
adorable, pink ones!!
And two fluffy pink
simply shabby chic washcloths,
a magnetic note pad for the fridge,
and a
pink flowered nail file.
And the most beautiful
little card
with pink roses on it,
and a fragrant heartfelt prayer
for me written inside
from Rebecca.
If you met her you would love her..
she has such a beautiful spirit!
Our Lord has gifted her with many children...
if Im not mistaken, they were all home births,
and she has home-schooled every one of them!

What a beautiful random act of kindness...
from such a beautiful friend.
We ran into each other the other day and chatted for awhile
and we spoke about our love of shabby chic..
shes been a lover of shabby chic
for a long time.
Her home is a lovely expression
of who she is...
soft and gentle spirited,
feminine,
and a fragrance of our Lord.
I'm so blessed to have her in my life
and grateful for her sweet friendship.
She is a gift.
