Season of whites

~A peaceful ride with my sweetie today
 along back country roads
 in the midwinter
brings moments of quiet togetherness
and the seasons beauty into perspective~

~Countless ice shacks here on our frozen lake
with sun glistening
and roads plowed with the tracks of joyful fishermen~

~Lemon meringue pie for two of my favourite men...
my sweetheart & my Dad...
both of them stealing my heart from the beginning~

~Moments of comfort in our new little haven...
soaking in God's goodness to us.
Grey stained pine beneath our feet,
a long awaited white couch
and a pair of knitting needles
bring contentment.
Hands creating something lovely ...
for someone lovely.
(Christmas gifting begins early when you knit)
Actually...knitting IS the gift.
I love it so~

How have you been spending your winter days?
Quietly indoors or actively outdoors?
Hoping you have been enjoying gentle days this February
as we await the ushering in of spring.

~Sending winter hugs and smiles your way~ xo

All my heart,
Deborah xo

Seasons greetings and Merry Christmas!

Wishing you all a blessed Christmas and the joy that can only come from Him. Winter is upon us here in Northern Ontario, Canada, but so far...
