Good afternoon!!
I must have been so tired this morning when I posted before work that I said it was afternoon tea today, but actually its "fireside chat" lol
Work was so busy today..although the benefits are.. that the day went by quickly.:)
You'd almost have thought that it was a long weekend...
Anyway, Im home and its time to let it go and embrace sweet life at home...
The sky is blue and bright and the sounds of puppies are plentiful in our house..
Theres a nice breeze and Im thinking about a new clothesline that I want to put up in our newly-fenced yard.
I can think of reasons why it would be economical to get one...and Id be right..
but I just want one because I like hanging clothes on the line and seeing the wind go through them, and smelling the freshness after they've been blowing in the wind all day :)
Im reminded of when I was a little girl and Id play house and we'd use mommas clothes-pegs to hang our dolls clothes on the top of the fence in the backyard....
What fun was that!! And all the other adventures of childhood...
And then theres the thought of gardening...Im excited about that, although with 3 dogs and a newly fenced in yard..I may have to settle for hanging planters...
Lets just say that last year they made their mark in my little secret garden in the back :(
So hanging planters it'll be, and patio pots!
Its still flowers.. no matter what way you look at it! And I love looking at flowers...
Any of you girls have dogs and still manage to have "intact" gardens?
Our dogs are 2 years, 1 1/2 years, and 1 year and they are scottish terriers and west highland terrier.
Well I guess its time to start dinner...one more work day this week and I actually get a weekend off!
Thats something to celebrate :)
