To do list:
1) Re-paint my living room in Antique White.
I just bought the paint a few days ago and am excited about "getting started" on one of my days off!
Thank you to Sandy Palmer from "Paint me White" blog who has so patiently and kindly been helping to give me advice on "white" decorating! Im so excited!
Sandys' a sweetheart and you can click on "Paint me white" and go to her blog for some real beauty paint make-overs..but you'll find her blog on "Places I love to linger on the left hand side of my blog.
P.S. If anyone knows how to make a link to do this please let me know. Im still a new blogger and I havent gotten that part yet... :) *
2) Paint over my pine armoire..yikes!
A brave move for me, but I think it'll look gorgeous in white.
It'll be going into my living room with my "soon-to-be" painted walls (antique white) and some of my other furniture to be painted white as well.
Let me tell you..this armoire "gets around"!
Its been in the living room, then in our bedroom (before we got our black bedroom set) and now its in our kitchen as a pantry!!!
But soon its destined to return to its "first love" in the living room.
I think the problem here is...Id like an armoire for every room!! :)

3) The next "to-do" is a desk I found on the roadside and am planning to paint black to go in my computer/quiet room.
My son painted the room for me..a "mocha-latte" colour and I have some black accents in there, so I think black for the desk would be best.
Let me run and take a photo of this "before" the re- paint attempt.

Here it is...
it has an optional desk-top for a typewriter as well..
does that age it a bit? :)
Anyway...thats my projects for the summer..
oh and also...
painting some shutters that my hubby found on the road-side while working...
so he picked them up for me!!
I think he's starting to "get" what I'm thinking!!! :)
and I'm grateful!
