Two are better than one

 

Hi everyone!

I hope your week is off to a great start!

Last week was filled with  special moments

and I thought I'd share a few of them with you.

This is my grandson

and he is a sweetie!

I took him to our  waterfront

and what fun we had.

I love being with him....

he is adorable and so smart and witty.

He makes me giggle.

He is a gift and I love him so much.

And especially all his  silliness

:) 

 

My dear friend came from many miles away

on a plane to visit her family.

I was so blessed in being able to visit with her too.

Even though the miles separate us,

we are so close in heart.

She's my  Tigger

and I'm her  Piglet.

Yes, we are Winnie-the-pooh characters to each other.

We have never really grown up at all.

:)

    

It's so much more friendly with two.

Bitten by bugs

 

Ouch!

I've been bitten by the bugs!

Two  of them!

the  gardening bug

and

the 

outdoor decorator bug.

How about you?

Have these been nibbling on you?

I brought an old wooden dresser outside on our deck

and started to  create

 

This little  birdie bath

or  fountain

was put together using a vase my sweet son

gave me a few years back when we both went to Ikea.

I added the bottom of a glazed  terra cotta pot on top

and added water. 

I hope to have some  feathered visitors soon.

:)

I planted more  hens n, chicks

in my yellow clogs.

:)

Makes me happy!

 

 I'm planning on getting more  succulents this year.

All of my gardening is  "container gardening"

because of our 5 dogs.

And you know, I don't mind this way at all; as long as I can garden in some way!

 

 

The  sun  is out in full force today

and I've been loving it!

Come on  sun!

Clothes on the line..

sigh....

love  summer!

And there's more  ideas  brewing

for outdoor decorating.

I   shutter when I think of it!

Lol
