Rest, beauty and aaahhhhhh

I'm thinking a hot bath

would be just what the Dr. ordered

when one has a bad cold and sore throat.

Some soaking to soothe aching muscles and the chills...

I've just lit the candles and I'm ready to

grab that fluffy towel

leaning over the tub...

How does that sound?

Good?

Well it does to me too!

This would be a bathroom I would love to relax, and soak in!!

So while I'm soaking the aches away,

and using lots of tissues for my nose,

I'll dream of this restroom..and maybe one day... :)

What do you think girls?

Don't you love the ladder, the beadboard,

the tub, the lamp...

why don't I just say...everything in this room!

And the white painted wood floor..ooh-la-la!

Ok a girl can dream, right?  :)

With delicious food of course...

to start..

scrambled eggs,

turkey bacon,

hot cross buns

and /or

toast

and speaking of toast..

we'll have a little toast

with some champagne or orange juice...

whichever you would prefer..  :)

while we adore the Easter Mums

my brother picked up for our Momma :)

And then we'll cuddle and snuggle with Molly..

just like my sister Denise is... :)

I'm thinking Molly likes her a little  :)

We celebrated a couple of birthdays there at the cottage,

and one of them was mine,

and Denise made the most delicious lemon cake....yummmm

and she made the most beautiful, endearing, handmade card for me

which brought tears to my heart

and she gave me a gorgeous camera bag

and a pair of earrings that she made herself...

ones that I have loved since she first designed them!

to stay inside...

the light is beckoning us to come and play,

Cottage cozy and quiet moments

off by itself

for writing

and jotting down

sweet thoughts

while in the pleasure

of

cottage country

A place to rest

body and spirit

with

natures

 healing

 sights and sounds

and

sweet peaceful sleep

in the

warmth

 of

country air

Time to fellowship

together

with family and friends

and

enjoy

good food

and

 family mealtime

Sweet mornings

and

fresh, warm

hot cross buns

in baskets

and raspberry pie

with shavings of chocolate

and

raspberry tablecloth

and see-through pink plates

(as if we needed the added chocolate lol  :)

Outside into the great outdoors,

into the fresh spring air

and down the stairs to the lake

Gorgeous view of the lake off the dock

Eyes upward through birch

into blue skies....

Beauty in unusual places

Wood in its natural setting

and the greens of spring

even the trees are decorated

But now its time

Time for a rest...
