Dreams and Vacation

Good morning friends!!!
Well, the ground is dry and this dream is about to begin to come to pass!
My hubby is starting to build my  shabby shed.

He was planning on using our existing shed,
but he changed his mind
and is going to make it out of old pallets.
That suits me fine..the shabbier the look, the better.
I can not wait!

I have been picking out treasures here and there from garage sales
and setting them aside to decorate this little shed.
I am excited!
I will paint the wood on the inside...
I'm thinking antique white,
but I am also thinking maybe duck egg
would be nice too.
Or maybe duck egg on the floor.
Hmmm so many decisions...but I'll admit ...that's the fun of it all! ;)
Whatever it is, it will be a cute comfy little haven in our back yard.
I will keep you posted as it is being built.

I have always adored Sandy Fosters
A porch would be so pretty!
And the cathedral style window would be a real find!
My hubby says he can make a porch too.
Mine wont look quite like this, but it will be sweet
and made with my hubbys hands and with love.
;)

What else is new?????
Holidays begin next week
and I have to pinch myself believing that it is here already!
Seriously...I begin planning and getting excited about this in January!
The weather is still a bit on the cooler side,
but the sun will be shining,
and it will be comfy for walking and browsing...
and enjoying the country roads in the surrounding areas.

I am preparing now....what to bring to wear,
how many sandals NOT to bring..lol
making sure I pack our picnic basket
for the picnics on the Niagara parkway.

My tootsies cant wait to be bared
and enjoying the warm sun
and downtown strolls,
and eating outdoors on sidewalk cafes.

And when we do our downtown browsing,
I have to say that my hubby is so patient.
He doesn't always come inside stores but he walks around outside
and enjoys the outdoors.
;)

There is always flowers galore down south
and I adore them all!

The gentle and quiet moments by the water's edge
are soothing...
a beautiful change to the daily busyness of life.
I treasure these moments
and take advantage of them when they come.
Sometimes you just may have to make these quiet times
and days apart happen
~

I will have my camera close and be snapping wherever I see beauty.
Love, hugs and a happy weekend to each one of you!!!

All my heart,
Deborah xoxoxoox
