Days off and sweet pleasures

Good morning!

I know yesterday was "Pancake Tuesday"

and I wanted to cook some up for supper

but hubby wanted fish,

so..

this morning I made some

mint chocolate-chip pancakes!!

Yummy!!! 

A nice way to begin the day, yes?  :)

Yesterday I finally....

finished a little project

I've been wanting to do..

Maria had a beautiful aqua and white

 painted watering can

 and I saw it

and well,

fell in love with it.

I had a watering can handy,

that needed some freshening up.. 

so I decided to change the colour

to

aqua and white..

I love it!

Its brought

spring

a little closer

to this gal.

There is so much talent

and

giftedness is this blogsphere

and

I'm so grateful!

But here goes...

These are some of my barnboard frames

that  I purchased before Christmas

at

Dollarama

for only $2.00  each!!

I love them!!

I gave 3 away as Christmas gifts

with some of my nature photos I've shot...

and decided that I want to put some more

up in my quiet/computer room on one wall.

I'd like to hang 6

with photos of the

 beautiful outdoors in them..

special places that hold much beauty

and have much meaning to me...

This one is from my

Mommas garden

with a view

of my

Dads shed

wherein sits his motorcycle

which he still drives

at the ripe age of 80!

I need to get myself going

to choose

the photos

I want to hang

in these

lovelies!
