Closing of the day

Beautiful day..from beginning to end

Sandals in March!!!!!!

Yesterday I had my spa pedicure ....
how lovely, how relaxing....
I have happy feet once again..:)
And today I wore my sandals out without my feet feeling the slightest bit cold!
I cant remember a March ever that I could wear sandals!!!
This photo was in September last year at my sisters birthday celebration...
these happy feet belong to my Momma, my two sisters and me...

Unexpected Surprises

Well..we are half-way through March...

and today was such a beautiful spring day!

Hard to believe so much of the snow has already melted....

Its funny how we plan things to do with our day and then someone crosses our path and our day takes us on another route..

While planning to snap some photos today, I ran into an old friend...

and we ended up

having such a nice chat ....

You never know what the day the day will bring...

but I enjoy the "unexpected surprises" that cause me to smile

and to remember how precious friendships are...

Refective Sunday

My Sunday was partially spent working..

but only for the morning..

so I had the afternoon to enjoy...

actually felt sleepy so decided to take a nap which turned into a good 2 hour nap   :)

After my hubby and I decided to pick up a sub and spend some time at the waterfront

eating and dreaming about some things we'd like to do...

I love days like this.....especially nice on a Sunday to take the time and slow down

just long enough to dream a little and rest and be content in one anothers company

as we break away from the business of life....

Im thankful for "little breaks" just to spend time with someone I love

and chat and hear each others heart....
