It's time to go!!!!

Paris with my girlfriends!!!!

The lovely

 Anita

from

Castles, Crowns and Cottages

has so graciously invited her girlfriends

to visit

My bags are packed and away we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We''ve arrived

and

excitement is in the air!!

We are tired from the trip,

but exhilirated

at the same time!!

This is our little flat for our stay here..

there are many rooms but all adjoining

for plenty of

girl-time!!

 Romance

abides

here...

our bedding is ruffly and our beds feel like we're resting on a

 cloud

Morning dawns

and we have our

cafe

together

and get bathed and dressed for our first day in Paris..

We stopped here at a little country shop

in a home

alongside the countryside

and

purchased some

cute shirts

for our travels today

and our bike ride together

Paris countryside

is breath-taking

and we stop along the way

to rest and adore

Make haste we must....

we have a night- out- on -the- town

and must prepare!!

But not before

we stop for a nibble

to eat

and enjoy

a

sweet treat

and now that we're back at our flat

we prepare

for our evening out together!!!

We  anticipate

gazing upon

the

Eiffel Tower

When all the while

we forget not

our

true loves

waiting for us at home

We 

 arrive

and are

feminine

in

heart

and 

in

dress

Our love

of

being a woman

oozes

in

Paris

and we are not

ashamed

of

dressing

in

our

womanhood;

celebrating our

feminity

We are near

the

Tower

now and

we

capture

memories

on each others lens'

to remember

our special time

here

We  see

and

appreciate

the

beautiful friendships

we have

and we

love...

yes we love

one another

from our hearts

We dine

and we enjoy

And we treasure

the moments

we've shared

We'll bring back our

souvenirs

but nothing can compare

with the

love & friendship

we've experienced

just being there

together xo

I can see clearly now, the hair is gone...

Mommy gets quite silly over me sometimes..

she HAD to get a photo or two of me

this morning

before my trip to the groomer...

Do I take photos of her before she goes to the groomer,

I mean hairdresser?!

No, of course I don't!

(I can,t hold a camera, for one thing..lol)

But because I love my Mommy,

I let her shoot those pics,

even if I won't look at her right now...

While I was getting picked away at,  groomed,

my Mommy went and visited Grandma & Grandpa.

Mommy said they talked about summer holidays

and just enjoyed one anothers company,

and she tooksome pics of their garden.

The tulips are still pretty so Mommy took a shot or two

She loves that shed where Grandpa keeps his motorcycle,

and likes to shoot pics with that as a backdrop....

this one Mommy just flooded with light.

Mommy loves Grandmas forget-me-nots

and lily-of-the-valleys.

Apparently they had a nice visit

while I was being tortured pampered

So while Grandma went to her own groomers hairdressers'

Grandpa came for the ride

to pick me up with Mommy.

They even stopped at Bins' and Bins' to get Grandpa some chocolate macaroons..

the nerve...they know I can't eat them :(

So..

What do you think?

They always make such a fuss over me when I come back

from there!

(Not that I mind it)

The bonus is..

I can see!

And I get alot of attention from the other 3 male dogs

when I arrive home...

They act like

I'm all that and then some!

I don't mind the attention

until I've had enough..then I tell them to stop..(in my own sweet, but firm way)

:)

After the mornings discomfort beauty treatment

Im usually ready for a nap

yawwwwnnnnn

I guess I'm ready for the summer now...

thanks Mommy...

and on that note,

I'm off to la-la land for a while.

A couple of months ago my hunny

said

"I found some old oars in the used boat I bought...do you want them?"

Really?

No seriously?

Of course I do!!!!

And so I added to the Hunny-do list

He's getting it..he really is!!!!

Pretty in pink

May I confess that I have never been a lover

of pink

until now!

Sorry to you who are pink lovers!!

But recently,

in love with  pink!

Lets just say in decor and bedding anyway!!

It adds such a

pop

of colour

to the whites..

and I am enjoying 

its prettiness

My hubby went garage sale-ing on Saturday

while I was at work

and he so kindly thought of me

and brought me home

this shabby mirror..

I love it!

and theres not a thing Im going to do to change it...

its perfectly shabby

and in great shape!!.

I love the contrast in colour with

these

gorgeous

aqua  ball jars

that were an unexpected, overwhelming gift of love

from my precious friend,

Since I fell in love with

shabby chic,

pink

has just,

shall I say,

b l o o m e d

in my eyes!!

Sometimes it can bring something

to a room..

as the french say....

"Je ne sais quoi"

It just adds such a feminine touch of

beauty...

I picked up that wooden planter when I was away visiting

my boys

recently with my daughter Carrie...

I put these grocery store pretties

into a vase and then placed them in the planter..

pink prettiness!!

And that lovely pink dream journal

is waiting to be filled with sweet thoughts...
