Im falling in love all over again

This was yesterdays starting to my day...

Can of paint and a keurig coffee in my starbucks cup... :)

This is the shade of green that I had in our dining room...

kind of sage-ish.

I still love that shade..its quite nice against the black furniture...

but it was time for some spring inspiration in there..

As you can see, curtains are down before the paint job,

and the walls were waiting for their transformation :)

Here's my "sneak-peek" before the reveal

which will be

in a day or two...

as soon as hubby puts baseboards back on and curtain rod and tie-backs up!

The white really makes the wood floor stand out now!

I love my wood floors... my hubby put in for me a few years ago...

He bought the wider planks of wood and put them all in lovingly for me,

and then stained them in a darker stain

 and I adore them,

and his labour of love xo

Spring is spelled P A I N T :)

This morning I'm taking out my brushes...

and I'm heading to the dining room

Haha...imagine painting your walls this way!!

Spring has sprung

and

in

 my decorators heart as well!

I'm going white in there too,..

It's gradually beginning to make its way

through our home.

The living room was first to turn white,

and now my dining room,

and soon to follow

will be our kitchen.

I love the purity of white

and the fun

of adding pops of colour

into the room.

I have black furniture in my dining room

so the white will certainly stand out..

I can't wait to see the change

it'll make!

I promise to take some before and after pics :)

I love "colour"

and even what I have in that room right now,

(its a gorgeous shade of green)

but

spring calls for a change

and for me

its white

 for purity,

and some romance..

I'll be adding a few new accents

that I've found 

and a sign or two that I've made...
